Wheaton's Reilly O'Toole Breaks Illinois Football Record

Wheaton Warrenville South grad Reilly O'Toole completed 26 of 31 passes in the 44-0 win over Charleston Southern University on Saturday.

Wheaton Warrenville South grad Reilly O'Toole broke an Illinois record Saturday when he completed 26 of 31 passes for 333 yards and five touchdowns against Charleston Southern University, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The Illini (2-1) defeated CSU (0-3) 44-0.

O'Toole's completion rate of 83.9 percent is a new school record, according to the Sun-Times. 

O'Toole made his first start for the Illini in the team's second game against Arizona State. Starting quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase has been out with an injury, according to Fox 2 Now.
