With One More Day to Vote, WN/WWS Game is 2nd in Votes for Time on NBC 5
Crosstown battles highlight regular final season week.
NBC 5 is wrapping up its regular season of "Prep Destination of the Week" with three crosstown match-ups, including the DuPage Valley title game between Wheaton North and Wheaton Warrenville South Friday, Oct. 21.
Each week, NBC 5 features a game of the week Friday morning live on location, showcasing a different area of Chicagoland during "NBC 5 News Today." To determine that location, viewers can vote for one of the three games on Facebook for the following three games:
- Lake Forest (6-2) at Libertyville (5-3)
- Plainfield North (4-4) at Plainfield South (4-4)
- (7-1) at (5-3)
Fans can track the voting before the polls officially close at noon on Wednesday. As of 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Lake Forest/Libertyville matchup leads with 2,447 votes. The Wheaton North/Wheaton Warrenville South match-up is a close second with 2,184 votes.
