Wheaton North, WWS Advance in Class 7A Playoffs
The Falcons defeat Glenbrook North 53-7 on Friday night, while Wheaton-Warrenville South overcomes Dunbar 48-16.
Wheaton North’s Falcons took a commanding lead in the first half and pushed on to slap down Glenbrook North 53-7 in the first round of the Class 71 playoffs, the Daily Herald reports.
Seeded fifth, the 8-2 Falcons travel next weekend to Fenwick (8-1), which is seeded fourth, according to the Daily Herald, which said the game day and time will be announced Monday.

Wheaton-Warrenville South’s Tigers also emerged triumphant after traveling to Gately Stadium, where they defeated the Dunbar Mightymen 48-16 on Friday night, the Daily Herald reported in another story.
The Tigers, at 8-2, advance to the next round, facing 6-4 Downers Grove North next weekend.
