Conference Recognition Goes to Wheaton Grads, Football Players

Wheaton Warrenville South grad Matt Glawe got second team recognition from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, CBS 4 reports.

Two Wheaton Warrenville South High School football grads, who now play at Augustana College, have earned second team recognition from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) this week, according to CBS 4 News.

Ssenior defensive back Matt Glawe and junior wide receiver Kyle Snow were two of seven Vikings to earn all-conference recognition. Their teammate, junior linebacker Erik Westerberg of Elmhurst was named the Defensive Player of the Year in the CCIW, CBS 4 reported

Glawe and Snow play with other Wheaton natives, including Wheaton North grads Kevin Farley and Ryan Coleman and Benet Academy grad Ryan Plunkett, who are all junior linebackers for the Vikings.
