Two Wheaton Residents Honored in College Athletics

Two Wheaton residents recognized by Olivet Nazarene University for their achievements on the women's softball and soccer teams.

Olivet Nazarene University recently recognized two of its athletes, both Wheaton residents, for their achievements while participating and competing in the Tiger athletics program.

Bethany Holaway, a senior majoring in psychology during the 2012-2013 academic year, was named a 2012 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete for her work on the softball team.

Meghan Pipal, a senior majoring in elementary education during the 2012-2013 academic year was named a 2012 Daktronics-National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Scholar-Athlete (women's soccer), the 2012 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) North Central Region Player of the Year (women's soccer) and was named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) All-Conference First Team (Fall 2012 season) (women's soccer).
