St. Francis Girls Soccer Team Wins First Class 2A State Title

St. Francis High School Girls win state championship game against Chatham Glenwood. The title is the first ever for the St. Francis girls soccer team.

The girls soccer team won the Class 2A State Championship game 2-1 against Chatham Glenwood Saturday, Jun. 2 at North Central College.

The Spartans (24-3) were led by seniors Sydney Fox, Kaitlin Ramsey and Amanda Gaggioli.

The team also included juniors Jenna DiTusa, Katherine Roback, Lauren Shields, Sarah Rahman, Alyssa Mastroianni, Meghan Wagner, Emma Fickle, Kaitlin Bucaro, Taylor Bucaro and Anna Vonderhaar; sophomores Christine Peplow, Andrea Ravlin and Brianna Miulli; and freshmen, Courtenay Hart and Taylor Van Thournout.
