Resident Scores Hole-in-One, Cash Prize at Cosley Classic Golf Outing

George Napoli of Wheaton scored a hole-in-one last Monday at the 28th Annual Mike Williams Cosley Classic Golf Outing at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton.

Napoli, who made the winning 135-yard show on the fifth hole of Arrowhead's West Course with an 8-iron, will receive a $2,500 prize.

Napoli has participated in the outing for many years and said he is a huge supporter of Cosley Zoo. “I have four young granddaughters, and we always visit Cosley Zoo," he said.

The Mike Williams Cosley Classic Golf Outing is an annual fundraiser organized by the Cosley Foundation which supports the many capital projects at Cosley Zoo. Each year, the event draws around 200 golfers.
