GBW and WWS Football Game to Air on ESPN

With the game just around the corner, Wheaton and Glen Ellyn Patch want you to place a bet on the final score.

This Sunday more eyes will be watching the local rival football game than ever before. 

Football rivals Glenbard West and Wheaton Warrenville South will square-off this Sunday at 11 a.m. and the game will be broadcast around the country on ESPN2.

Sunday's game will be one of 13 high school football games that will air on the sports network as part of the 2011 High School Football Kickoff series. 

As you gear up for the game, Patch is starting a rivalry, too, and we want you to join.

Slight correction, Samantha...broadcast starts @ 11am Sunday-not noon. ...& if you're not near a TV, it'll also be streamed live on ESPN3: http://espn.go.com/espn3/ (BTW...ESPN3 often has live streams of college games

The game will be a classic. The parking will be a classic headache. Whatever time you THINK you should arrive at WWS to get a decent (neighborhood) parking space and a seat in the home or away bleachers, get there ½ hour or 45 minutes sooner.

This is incredibly exciting. I just called Tap House and they are running a deal this Sunday for a Breakfast Buffet and Bus Trip to the game. I heard the number $10.
