New and gently used sports equipment will be offered for sale at the Wheaton Park District Community Center. The sale benefits the park district’s Leisureship Program, which helps make aquatic facilities and recreation programs available to Wheaton Park District residents regardless of their economic situation. Equipment donations are being accepted through March 2. New and gently used equipment including soccer balls (size 3, 4 & 5), shin guards, baseball and softball gloves, aluminum and wooden bats, and baseballs and softballs can be dropped at the Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard Road, and Arrowhead Golf Club, 26W151 Butterfield Road in Wheaton
