Race Highlights
• Scenic course through downtown Wheaton
• Zippity Zoo Run (children's 1/2 mile race)
• CARA registered race and USATF certified course
• Chronotrack-timed
• Awards overall male & female, and top three finishers in each age category
• Run T-shirts & Goody Bags for the first 2,500 registered
• Wheelchair participants welcome
• Race results posted on race day & online at www.active.com and www.cararuns.org
• Marks and splits every mile
• Post-race party with music, awards, and refreshments
• Medical aid and water available at start, finish and along the course
• Starting pen at front for the first 250 runners with best run time in 5K (under 22 minutes) and in 10K (under 48 minutes).
Runners under the age of 15 are not allowed in the starting pen.
• No strollers, rollerblades, bikes or dogs allowed.

Packet Pick-Up on Race Day is available at the Memorial Park tennis courts on Race Day from 6 to 6:45am.

• T-shirts and runner goody bags are available for the first 2,500 registrants.
• T-shirts are available for the first 250 children’s race participants.
• T-shirt sizes are on a first-come, first-served basis.

CARA Certification
This race has applied for and received the Chicago Area Runners Association designation as a CARA CERTIFIED RACE.
This race has agreed to adhere to and uphold CARA’s Best Practices Guidelines. These Guidelines embody the highest standards for quality, safety and comfort for participants in a road race. Due to CARA’s advocacy efforts, runners in the Chicagoland area enjoy some of the highest quality road races in the country.
