Early December Sports News

Former NBA player Keon Clark was sentenced to 8 years in prison for gun charges. To quote Chicago-based rapper Chief Keef, Clark "hated being sober." So much so, that he once said he "never played a NBA game sober in my career." He claimed to drink at halftime. Clark hails from Danville, IL.

Chicago Bulls PG Derrick Rose claimed that come playoff time, "If I'm healthy and the situation is right, I will be back playing." Here we go again.

Tim Tebow was offered a four-month contract in the Italian Football Federation by the Milano Seamen. The team was formerly owned by Giorgio Armani. This is the worst offer of all time.

Wheaton Warrenville South opens their basketball season against Wheaton North this Friday. The Tigers will be missing around 8 returning players, who have all taken their talents to the ultra-competitive, WWSIBL.

Northern Illinois is favored by 4 over a three-loss Bowling Green team, who got annihilated by Indiana University, in the MAC Championship. Northern is ranked 14 and LSU is ranked 15th, so Northern > LSU according to the BCS. Would the line be LSU by 2 over Bowling Green? Questions to Ponder, and speaking of Christian, the Minnesota Vikings front office has apparently expressed major interest in Johnny Manziel. The Aggies are likely to head to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and take on Duke (they will fear the spear) or the U (they don't fear anything). The Chick-Fil-A Bowl will be played at 8:00 on New Year's Eve, which stresses Johnny Football out very much.
