Small Business Saturday in Wheaton is Nov. 30

The annual celebration is intended to remind shoppers that money spent at local businesses has a greater impact on their communities.

They are familiar phrases, intended to remind residents that dollars spent at small businesses remain in the community longer, having a greater and stronger impact than buying at large businesses based elsewhere.


Saturday is Small Business Saturday nationwide, which the Small Business Administration says it has designed as “a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities,” according to its website.
