Whiz Kids: Benet Students From Wheaton Receive AP Scholar Recognition

Benet Academy recognizes AP scholars.

Benet Academy's Advanced Placement Program last week recognized students who achieved outstanding scores on multiple AP exams. This year, 103 students from the Classes of 2011 and 2012 were honored as AP scholars. Ten of the students are Wheaton natives.

AP Scholar Awards, granted to students who received grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams, were given to: 

  • ’11 
  • ’12
  • ’11
  • ’12
  • ’12
  • ‘11

AP Scholar with Honors recognitions were granted to students who received an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. The following Benet alumni and students received this honor:

Those students who received an average grade of at least 3.50 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on 5 or more of these exams were named AP Scholars with Distinction. Benet honorees in this category include the following:
