Twelve Wheaton Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

Two St. Francis, six Wheaton North and four Wheaton Warrenville South seniors announced as semifinalists.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) today announced the names of approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 57th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

Twelve of the semifinalists are seniors at Wheaton schools. Congratulations to Holden King and Ann Kolker from St. Francis High School; Adam Billingham, Henry Euhus, Amy Hummel, Megan Liebman, Zachary Neal and Gabrielle Wojtyna from Wheaton North High School; and Robert Cavanaugh, Bradley Disbrow, Peter Ericksen and Samuel Niro from Wheaton Warrenville South High School.

These high school seniors will have the opportunity to continue in the competition for some 8,300 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $34 million.
