This Week's Senior: Maggie Slivinski

Maggie Slivinski is a senior at Wheaton North High School. She is involved in Pep Club, Yearbook, and Student Council. She will attend the University of Illinois next fall.

When senior Maggie Slivinski isn’t in school or working for the Pep Club, Yearbook, or Student Council, she volunteers at the DuPage Animal Shelter. She can’t wait to start college at the University of Illinois next fall. Slivinski plans on majoring in Environmental Science and Wildlife Conservation.

Wheaton Patch: Why did you choose this college?

Maggie Slivinski: [U of I] was one of the few colleges that offered a really good environmental program. I also like that it’s a big school; there will be plenty for me to see and do when I’m there.
