Reminder: Cash 'n Carry at Hubble is Today

District 200 to sell of extra stuff in the old Hubble school building.

Community Unit School District 200 is holding its public sale of the surplus items at the old Hubble school property today, Friday, Oct. 14 and tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 15. Items for sale include desks, shelving, chairs, tables, old electronics and AV equipment, cabinets and more.

The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Those interested in purchasing items should enter the property through the circle drive off of Main Street.

Requests for memorabilia or other special items will be reviewed on a case by case basis. At this time, bricks will not be sold. District 200 hopes to work with the demolition company to preserve some of the bricks and will open that sale to the public at a later date.
