Nine Candidates File for District 200 Board of Education Election

The election for the District 200 Board of Education will be April 9, 2013. Nine people will compete for four seats on the board.

Nine people have filed petitions for candidacy for the District 200 Board of Education in the 2013 election, including three incumbents. There are four Board of Education seats up for election to a four-year term. 

James Mathieson, a downtown Wheaton property owner active in the Downtown Wheaton Association (DWA) will be the first person on the ballot. 

Incumbent Ken Knicker will be the second person on the ballot and Harold Lonks, who ran for the board in 2011, will be the third person on the ballot.

Candidates will appear on the ballot in the following order: 

  1. James Mathieson
  2. Ken Knicker (incumbent)
  3. Harold Lonks
  4. Brad Paulsen
  5. Barbara Intihar (incumbent)
  6. Jan Shaw
  7. Bruce Fogerty
  8. Kyle Nenninger
  9. Joann Coghill (incumbent)

The consolidated election will be April 9, 2013.
