Summer Worship & Adult Education Schedule

During the summer, there will be one worship service on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.  Adult Education will be held in the Ministry Center from 10:45 - 11:30.

During the first five week class, join us as we consider some of the difficult ethical issues that are so often debated in our society, the media, our homes, and our churches. This class will offer a wide and objective view of the issues, to allow you the tools needed to work on your own stance. The purpose of this class is not to dictate a stance, but provide ideas and information to help you see the different sides of the issues at hand.

The topics are as follows:

June 10 - Birth ethics (abortion, pre-natal screening, germ line intervention)

June 17 - Sexuality Ethics (sexual morality, momosexuality and gay rights, pornography)

June 24 - Economic Ethics (fairness and justice, equlaity, free trade, outsourcing)

July 1 - War Ethics (just war, rules of engagement, torture, wars of tomorrow)
