Financial Statements are the
Report Cards of a business. They depict the activities of your business to you
and third parties such as investors, bankers and
creditors.

Often these Report Cards are the most significant
tools that a business owner has available to successfully manage his or her
business.

This event is targeted to all business owners who want to become knowledgeable about
the Accounting of their business. The workshop will be divided into two
segments. In Part one, you will learn the meaning of the Financial Statements,
how to read them and why they are so important to your business. Part two will
be a presentation from a Quick Books Expert on the best practices in
record-keeping, common mistakes and ways to avoid them.

Two accounting
firms will be making this presentation:

Corbett, Duncan & Hublly, PC (Itasca,
IL)
and Seldon Fox, Ltd. (Oakbrook, IL)

This event is
sponsored by:   SCORE  Mentors to Small Business
