Reach Out with English

The Institute for Cross-Cultural Teaching (ICCT) at the Billy Graham Center will offer a training opportunity this fall at Wheaton College.


This 30-hour training course “Reach Out with English: Essentials of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages,” offers practical preparation for English as a Second Language/English as a Foreign Language teaching. With the goal of preparing participants for effective cross-cultural teaching ministry in a variety of settings ranging from private tutoring to classroom teaching, and with more than 28 years of combined ESL teaching experience, the ICCT faculty brings a blend of teaching excellence and ministry focus.


The course takes place 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays during the weekends of September 28 - 29, October 19 - 20, and November 9 – 10. The cost to attend the training course is $250 if registered by September 1 and; $275 after the deadline.
