Some comments from past participants in this program:

“Hearing each family’s story helped me realize I was not alone.”

“The course is very informative. It gives me a better understanding of the “system” and the consumer [person with a mental illness]. NAMI is doing a great job in bringing mental illness out in the open and to the public.”

“The class provided an optimistic outlook for myself and my family. Also gave me the tools to move forward.”

“I learned so much about the onset of illness, the issues families face in treatment, and advocacy for our loved ones.”

NAMI DuPage also has drop-in support groups at various locations. For more information call the NAMI DuPage office at (630) 752-0066, ext. 210, or visit www.namidupage.org
