Lecture: "Same-Sex Marriage Affects Everyone"

Wheaton College offers a lecture by Jennifer Roback Morse titled “Same-Sex Marriage Affects Everyone.” The lecture, exploring the social and economic implications related to same-sex marriage, takes place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 1.

Dr. Morse is the founder and president of the Ruth Institute. She served as a research fellow for Stanford University’s Hoover Institution from 1997-2005, and taught economics at Yale University and George Mason University for 15 years. She is the author of Smart Sex: Finding Life-long Love in a Hook-up World and Love and Economics: It Takes a Family to Raise a Village. Dr. Morse’s numerous articles have appeared in such scholarly publications as the Journal of Political Economy, the University of Chicago Law Review, and the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
