Junior Curator Camp at the DuPage County Historical Museum

Come and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a museum works! How are exhibits planned for and created? Who puts all of the objects on display? During this week's special spring break session, kids have the opportunity to create and exhibit their own collection. Participants explore the museum's collections, research mysterious historic artifacts, create art projects with recycled photographs, perform conservation experiments, and learn history through games. From helping to choose the exhibition content to creating the works on display, kids work on a variety of projects that they'll put on exhibit and share with the DuPage County Historical Museum and all its wonderful visitors. The camp is open to kids ages 7 to 12.

For more information, visit the Museum's web site at www.dupagemuseum.org or call 630-665-4710.  Registration is required. To register, visit www.wheatonparkdistrict.com or register in person at the Wheaton Park District Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard, or the Museum, 102 E Wesley Street.
