Hot Topics in Breast Cancer 2012

June 29-June 30, 2012

Wellness House welcomes Geralyn Lucas, cancer survivor and  author of “Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy” to kick off this year’s event on June 29.  Diagnosed with breast cancer at age 27, Geralyn tells her story of being a woman cancer patient in a beauty-obsessed culture.  While dealing with the fear and uncertainty of the future, Geralyn describes her path to self-acceptance.  Her book was made into a Lifetime Original Movie that aired in 2006.

Join us on June 30 for medical panel presentations and breakout sessions.  The panelists will share the latest research and information that was presented this past year at the annual San Antonio Breast Symposium and the American Society of Clinical Oncology Conference.
