Architectural Walking Tours May 12 at DuPage County Historical Museum

Visitors of all ages can celebrate Historic Preservation Month by participating in special DuPage County Historical Museum architectural walking tour, Saturday, May 12. Tours are offered for both children and adults. Each walk takes about one hour. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Approximately 1.5 miles are covered during all tours.

From 10 -11am, children age 6-12, can learn about the history and architecture of Wheaton on a special walking tour just for kids. Discover the stories behind the railroad, DuPage County Courthouse and more. The tour begins at the DuPage County Historical Museum. Cost is $6. Registration code: #231310

From 11am - noon, adults are invited to stroll through historic downtown Wheaton, while learning about the people, businesses and important events that shaped our area. The tour begins at the DuPage County Historical Museum. (12 years old and up.) Cost is $6. Registration code:#231408.
