The course satisfies the 40-hour mediation training requirement of DuPage County and other Illinois jurisdictions as well as the mediation requirement to become a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. Approval pending for attorneys to receive 40 MCLE credits, 36 regular hours and 4 professional responsibility hours! Includes screening for impairments, domestic violence and substance abuse. Class size is limited. You must attend all sessions for eligibility to qualify for approval.
The course and the materials are nationally approved by the Association of Conflict Resolution (ACR). The course includes practical, ethical and legal components as well as theories of conflict resolution. Participate in mock mediations with experienced mediators and coaches who will mentor and evaluate the course participants with individual attention and feedback in smaller groups of three or four students. Limited sized groups that assure personal attention, and a program that provides continuing education credits!
