Edison Students Charged for Posting Inappropriate Images to Social Media Accounts

Two Edison Middle School students face criminal charges following allegations they posted inappropriate images involving staff and students at Edison Middle School on "dummy" social media accounts, according to the Daily Herald. 

The two 14-year-old students were charged in juvenile count with three counts of harassment by electronic communications, four counts of obscenity and one count of transmission of obscene messages, the Daily Herald. reports. 

District officials said the images "were not true images" but were a "combination of images" that involved "a lot of creative cutting and pasting," according to the article.
