District 200 Budget Posted for Public Viewing

The tentative District 200 budget for fiscal year 2013 is available for public viewing. The district will hold a public hearing on the budget Sep. 12.

The tentative 2012-2013 budget for Wheaton Warrenville Community Unit School District 200 is now available for viewing until a Sep. 12 public hearing.

District officials expect to post a balanced budget, up 2.47 percent from FY12. Projected operating revenues and expenditures are $150,116,590, excluding Bond & Interest and Site & Construction figures, Bill Farley, assistant superintendent for business operations told board members at a meeting Wednesday night.

The budget is on display at the , the , Warrenville, Winfield and Carol Stream public libraries and on the District 200 website.

The public hearing on the budget will be Wednesday, Sep. 12 at Bower Elementary School. The board will approve the budget Sep. 26.
