Break-in Reported at Smashburger in Wheaton

are investigating a burglary at Smashburger, 1 Rice Lake Square, after someone shattered a door at the west entrance of the restaurant between 11 p.m. Thursday, May 24 and around 7 a.m. Friday, May 25. According to the police report, after employees closed and locked the business around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, someone broke in and tried to access the safe without success. Nothing was taken.
