Benet Academy Students Named National Merit Semi-Finalists

One Darien resident and one Woodridge resident are among the 20 Benet Academy students in the running for the 2013 Merit Scholarship competition.

Semifinalists are chosen by their high scores on the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualify Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.

These academically talented students will have the opportunity to continue in competition for Merit scholarship awards worth $32 million that will be offered next spring.
