Beautiful Oops! Mistakes Can Be Awesome

There are no mistakes—only adventures in creativity.

A spill or a tear in your paper doesn’t ruin a drawing. A smudge, a stain or smear, it’s fun to see what’s hidden there.

From 10 a.m. to noon Friday, April 18, College of DuPage instructor, artist and designer Pam Keller will show you how to take those mistakes to a whole new level. Turn that spill into a goofy animal, or that ripped paper into an alligator’s mouth. Hooray for mistakes!

The event will be held at Prairie Path Books. The cost is $25 per family ($5 for each additional child) and includes a copy of "Beautiful Oops!" by Barney Saltzberg. Order your tickets by clicking here.

Prairie Path Books is located at 303 Front St. in Wheaton, inside Toms-Price Home Furnishings.
