Wheaton to Look at Adopting Building Code Updates

Wheaton officials are considering the first updates to the city’s building codes since the City Council adopted the 2003 ICC Building Codes.


A release the city posted on its website states that the Wheaton Building Department is reviewing the 2012 ICC Building Codes with an eye toward presenting them to the City Council in the months ahead.


According to the city, copies of the 2012 ICC Building Codes are available for inspection during normal business hours at the Building Department, Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St. Forms are available for comments.
