Wheaton Considers Allowing Earlier Sale of Liquor in City

The Wheaton City Council is considering an amendment to its liquor code that would allow for restaurants and businesses to sell liquor earlier in the day, according to a Suburban Life Media article. 

Under Wheaton's current code, restaurants and stores can not sell liquor before noon on Sundays while the time liquor can be sold varies Monday through Saturday depending on the type of license, according to Wheaton's city code. The earliest liquor can currently be sold is 9 a.m. 

Under the proposed amendment, the earliest time liquor could be sold would change to 7 a.m., according to Suburban Life Media.
