March 2012 Primary: Live Blog, UPDATED 9:55 PM

Patch will provide real-time updates as results are available for the 6th Congressional District, the 42nd and 48th State Representative districts and the 21st and 24th State Senate districts.

Today, voters throughout the country will mark who they want to represent them in county, state and national levels of government. Patch will update the live blog throughout the day, as we hit polling places and hear of any news related to the primary elections.

To prime the pump, we'll provide a few links to stories we've already done, but the most useful page for voters in Wheaton is the page. There, you'll find links to race pages for the , the and State Representative districts and the and Senate districts. Each race page contains links to candidate pages, where candidates have provided answers to our questions about national and Illinois government.

When the polls close, we'll provide updates in the tables below as votes are counted.
