Half of Wheaton City Council Supports Chris Hage

Press release: Local leaders increasingly encourage voters to elect former prosecutor.

The following is a press release from Chris Hage:

Half of the members of the Wheaton City Council have endorsed Chris Hage for State Representative, the campaign announced today, adding to a growing list of lawmakers, anti-tax advocates and others supporting the former prosecutor.  Hage has previously received high marks from prolife/pro-family organizations and the endorsement of the Chicago Tribune.
 
"When voters see who supports my campaign, I think they can feel confident that I have the proven passion and principles to fight for them in Springfield," Hage said.  "I am humbled and grateful for so much goodwill."

For nearly ten years, Hage served as a prosecutor under Birkett, successfully convicting felons and collecting more than a million dollars in child support.  Hage has also led the Chicago Lawyers' Chapter of the Federalist Society, a conservative public policy group started by Reagan Administration attorneys.  Hage also is an Eagle Scout.
 
The 42nd District includes all of Winfield, large parts of Wheaton and Lisle, and portions of Carol Stream, West Chicago, Warrenville, and Naperville.
