Greek-American Advocacy Group Endorses Chris Hage

The following is a press release from Chris Hage:

Calling him a "valued friend," the United Hellenic Voters Association has announced its support of Chris Hage for State Representative (42nd District).

"We are in agreement with your policies and views, and we feel your leadership will benefit our community and pledge to you our support,” leaders of the UHVA wrote.
 
The organization will reach out to its members to encourage them to vote for Hage.
 
“The endorsement of the UHVA is a great honor,” Hage said. “The organization promotes good government and citizenship.  This helps underscore my conservative message.  It’s also very humbling to have the support of such a warm community.”
 
Hage announced his run in October, with Patti Birkett, wife of former DuPage State's Attorney Joe Birkett, chairing the effort.
 
For nearly ten years, Hage served as a prosecutor under Birkett, successfully convicting felons and collecting more than a million dollars in child support. For more than ten years, Hage has also led the Chicago Lawyers' Chapter of the Federalist Society, a conservative public policy group started by Reagan Administration attorneys.  Hage also is an Eagle Scout.
 
The 42nd District includes all of Winfield, large parts of Wheaton and Lisle, and portions of Carol Stream, West Chicago, Warrenville, and Naperville.
