Four Candidates File for Wheaton Park District Board

Four people file for three open seats on the Wheaton Park District Board of Commissioners.

Four people have filed for candidacy in the 2013 election of the Wheaton Park District Board of Commissioners.

The residents running to fill three seats include Jane Hodgkinson, former director of the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association, and incumbents, current President John Kelly, Mark Schobel and Steve Fieweger.

The board is comprised of seven volunteers who represent about 53,000 residents in Wheaton. Terms for the four other board members—Vice President Phil Luetkehans, Terry Mee, Ray Morrill and Kim VanderSchaaf—continue until 2015.
