Voter Suppression

The League of Women Voters of Wheaton will be joined by representatives from the ACLU of Illinois to present a program on one of the hottest topics this election year; VOTER SUPPRESSION. We will discuss what is happening, why it is happening and what is being done to combat the new laws that have been passed to inhibit voter participation.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, September 20, 2012, in the Atten Room, Wheaton Park District Community Center on 1777 S. Blanchard Road, Wheaton. Doors will open at 7:00 PM for meet and greet, and the program will start at 7:30 PM. The event is free, and the public is welcome.
