PTA Hosts District 200 Candidate Forum

The Wheaton Warrenville PTA Council will sponsor a School Board Candidates’ Forum on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Wheaton Warrenville South High School at 7 p.m.

The event will take place in the school’s library and will begin with candidates providing two-minute introductions.  The moderator Stephen Caliendo, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Political Science at North Central College will pose questions submitted by the audience and provide each candidate with one minute to respond.  The evening will conclude with each candidate presenting a one-minute closing statement.

Seven people are running for three open slots on the School Board.  These include Alisha Ali, John Bomher, Jim Gambaiani, Harold Lonks, Michael Radencich, Rosemary Swanson, and James Vroman.  All have been invited to participate in the forum and only Ali will be unable to attend.
