March 2012 Primary Results Are In: Coolidge, Ives and Dillard Win in Wheaton Districts

Leslie Coolidge wins 6th Congressional District, Jeanne Ives wins 42nd State Representative District and Kirk Dillard wins State Senate, 24th District.

The votes have been counted, and in the primary for the 6th Congressional District in Illinois, Democrat defeated her opponents Geoffrey Petzel and Maureen Yates, with 53 percent of the total votes.

In the primary for the 42nd State Representative District, Republican and Wheaton City Councilwoman defeated opponents Chris Hage, Dave Carlin and Laura Pollastrini, with 35.74 percent of the total votes.

defeated his opponent, Chris Nybo, in the primary for the 24th Senate District, with 61.15 percent of the total votes.
