D200 Receives Three "Letters of Interest" in Hubble, Anticipates Action Jul. 13

The District 200 board considers its options for Hubble, which include four official bids and formal letters of interest.

Three additional parties have thrown their names into the mix of the next potential owners of the old Hubble school property with "formal letters of interest," according to a District 200 press release Wednesday. Two of the interested parties are private developers, according to District 200 spokeswoman Erica Foreman, and one is the College Preparatory School of America. 

Foreman said the board plans to vote on one of the proposals at its next board meeting Jul. 13, and will encourage the interested parties to submit formal offers before then.

The D200 board held a closed session meeting Tuesday, Jun. 21, to discuss the bids, and is still considering all of the submitted proposals, according to the release.

The Board of Education anticipates taking action on the sale of the property at the Jul. 13 Board Meeting, according to the release.
