Construction Update: Two Nights of Closures at Naperville-Butterfield Intersection
City has Web site with update on ongoing road work.
Utility work related to the widening project will require some road closures at Butterfield and Naperville roads, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Beginning at 10 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, IDOT crews will close Naperville Road at the intersection for utility work. Drivers on Naperville can follow detour signs to avoid the closure. Butterfield Road will remain open with flaggers assisting drivers.
IDOT expects the work to be wrapped up and all lanes reopened by 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
