City Schedules Info Session on Downtown Strategic Plan

Briefing to be held June 26 at City Hall.

The city and the firm selected to assist in two downtown improvement plans are hosting an informational session on June 26 to detail the process and community participation in it.

Scheduled for 10 a.m. at City Hall, the session is intended for residents and community stakeholders to learn more about the overall goals of the Downtown Strategic Plan and Downtown Streetscape Plan.

City officials said an important component in the downtown strategic process is community outreach to seek input on the overall vision for improving downtown and improving issues, such as development, traffic, aesthetics, land use and more.
