Chris Hage Announces Campaign for Illinois' 42nd District

Hage asks for support at Wheaton VFW post Monday.

Chris Hage, a Wheaton resident and former prosecutor for the DuPage County State's Attorney announced his campaign for the Republican nomination for State Representative in the 42nd district Monday. 

Hage, of Dixon, IL, served for 10 years as a prosecutor under Joseph Birkett in the DuPage County States Attorney's Office and was a chief attorney in the child support division.

Hage has led the Chicago chapter of the Federalist society for the past 10 years. He attended the Illinois Math and Science Academy in Aurora, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Chicago-Kent College of Law. He has also served as a precinct committeeman in Milton and York townships.

He said he plans to focus on three goals: rolling back Gov. Quinn's tax increases, making Illinois job-friendly and spending control.
