Battery
Police arrested John Bayer, 37, of the 600 block of Bridle Street in Wheaton for battery Sunday, Apr. 15. He was arrested at his home at 12:50 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day, police said.

DUI
Police arrested Julie Risa of St. Charles for driving under the influence of alcohol Sunday, Apr. 22. Risa, 36, drove a blue 2006 Toyota Corolla near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and West Street around 3:25 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Chris Knitter, 42, of the 1900 block of Gresham Circle in Wheaton for a warrant for a DUI Thursday, Apr. 12. He was arrested at the Wheaton Police Department at 3 p.m. and taken to DuPage County Jail.
Theft
Police arrested Paulette Chappell, 36, of Glen Ellyn for stealing cosmetics from a store at 112 Danada Square West Tuesday, Apr. 17. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department around 12:15 p.m. and released later that day.
Trespassing
Police arrested Arthur Reeves of the 700 block of Liberty Drive in Wheaton for trespassing and on a warrant for trespassing in the 400 block of Washington Street Tuesday, Apr. 17. Police arrested Reeves, 23, in the 400 block of Washington Street around 1 a.m. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
