DUI

Police arrested a Naperville man for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and leaving the scene of an accident Thursday, March 22. Connor Baniak, 19, drove a maroon 1997 Ford F-150 near the intersection of Naperville Road and Park Avenue around 8 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested an Oak Forest woman for driving under the influence of alcohol Thursday, March 22. Lori Cease, 28, drove a black 2005 Scion TC near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Cromwell Street around 1:30 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a Chicago man for driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal weapon use and driving without a valid license Thursday, March 22. George Kakaletris, 46, drove a black 1999 Isuzu Trooper near the intersection of Main Street and Geneva Road around 1 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a Glen Ellyn man for driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana possession Saturday, March 17. James Bower, 47, drove a red 2000 Ford Ranger near the intersection of Roosevelt and Lorraine roads around 11 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Police arrested a Glen Ellyn man for driving under the influence of alcohol Saturday, March 17. Gabriel Carlson, 21, drove a black 2011 Nissan near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Scottdale Circle around 3 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Drugs

Police issued local ordinance citations to a 23-year-old Brookfield man for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Tuesday, March 20. He was cited near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Lancaster Drive around 10 p.m. and released on the scene.

Police arrested a Wheaton man for a felony offense of marijuana possession with the intent to deliver Wednesday, March 14. Raymond Kucharski, 18, drove a silver 2004 Pontiac Grand Am near the intersection of Elm and Fischer streets around 9:30 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and taken to DuPage County Jail.
