Wheaton Police Investigation Leads to Child Porn Arrest

The Wheaton Police Department discovered pornographic material on a Clarendon Hills 25-year-old's computer as part of its Internet crime efforts.

The following is a release from the Clarendon Hills Police Department:

On March 28, Daniel R. Hillier, 25, of the 300 block of Park Avenue, Clarendon Hills, was charged with 12 counts of possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography by the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. Hillier was taken into custody on March 29 and is being held on a $300,000 bond. 

Investigators from the Wheaton Police Department discovered pornographic material on Hillier’s computer as part of their ongoing Internet crime efforts. That material was vetted by the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s office and a search warrant was issued. The search warrant was served on March 22 by members of the Clarendon Hills and Wheaton Police Departments. Electronic devices were seized and are currently being forensically examined.
