Wheaton Police Charge Lombard Man for Child Pornography
A police undercover Internet investigation leads to the arrest.
A Wheaton Police Department undercover Internet investigation has resulted in the arresting and charging of a suspect for possession of child pornography.
Michael Patrick Sutton, 20, of Lombard was arrested March 1. Wheaton police detectives were assisted by deputies from the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office E-crimes Unit.
Sutton was arrested pursuant to an arrest warrant issued in DuPage County Court. Sutton remains in custody at the DuPage County Jail where bond was set at $100,000.

Police said they are not releasing any other details because prosecution of the case is pending.
