Wheaton Police Blotter: Home Burglary Reported; Shattered Windows on East Prairie Avenue

Crime reports for April 14 to April 20.

The Wheaton Police Department responded to various crime reports between April 14 and 20. 

Here is a look at the reports taken by the Wheaton Police Department during this time frame: 

  • Police received a criminal damage to property report regarding windows that were shattered in the 1500 block of East Prairie Avenue. 
  • Graffiti was reported on an exterior wall at Memorial Park, 208 West Union Avenue. 
  • A residential burglary was reported in the 800 block of Gary Court. A television and PlayStation were stolen. 
  • A theft of motor vehicle parts was reported at Grand Ridge Bank, 401 South Carlton Avenue. A Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. 
  • An unattended cell phone was reportedly stolen from McDonald's, 2030 South Naperville Road; a cell phone was stolen from a locker at Franklin Middle School, 211 East Franklin Street; and prescription medication was stolen from the 600 block of East Wakeman Avenue.
