TUESDAY, NOV. 26, 2013


Stolen License Plate


A woman reported at 4:39 p.m. that someone stole the front license plate of her silver 2008 Lexus between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. while it was parked on the 1100 block of Cherry Street.


Retail Theft Arrest


Daniel J. Baier, 30, of the 400 block of Hill Street, Downers Grove, was arrested at 10 a.m. on the 400 block of South Beverly Street on a charge of retail theft. He posted bond and was released.

Retail Theft Arrest


Antione P. Larry, 18, of the 600 block of Sherman Street, West Chicago, was arrested at 7:23 a.m. on the 300 block of West Liberty Drive on a charge of retail theft. He posted bond and was released.


Vehicle Tampering


A resident reported at 5:27 a.m. that overnight, someone tampered with and tried to gain entry to a school bus parked in a lot on the 1000 block of College Avenue.

MONDAY, NOV. 25, 2013


Warrant Arrest


Damian H. Skoczylas, 20, of the 3S200 block of Cypress Drive, Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. at the Wheaton Police Department, 900 W. Liberty Drive, on a Wheaton police warrant for felony theft. He posted bail and was released.


SUNDAY, NOV. 24, 2013


Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol


Christopher J. Deemer, 25, of the 00-99 block of Thornfield North, Hawthorn Woods, was arrested at 5:53 a.m. on the 100 block of East Pershing Avenue on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, and possession of cannabis. He posted bail and was released.


SATURDAY, NOV. 23, 2013


DUI


Anthony R. Galto, 36, of the 300 block of Brittnay, Geneva, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on the 1100 block of East Route 38 on a charge of DUI. He posted bond and was released.


FRIDAY, NOV. 22, 2013


Mischievous Conduct


The Wheaton Fire Department was dispatched at 10:15 p.m. to McCully Stadium, 700 E. College Ave., on a report of a fire behind the bleachers. Wheaton College security officers told Wheaton police that just before the fire, three or four people in dark-colored clothing were seen walking away from the area behind the bleachers and into the Billy Graham Center parking lot, where they got into a light-colored Dodge Caravan and left. Wheaton fire officials confirmed there was property damage from what they classified as a trash fire.


Warrant Arrest


Alexander J. Nesteruk, 23, of the 400 block of Fawell Boulevard, Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. at the Wheaton Police Department, 900 W. Liberty Drive, on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court on a retail theft charge. He posted bail and was released.


$1,000 Mountain Bike Stolen


Police were investigating a report at 4:35 p.m. from a man who said his unsecured mountain bike, valued at $1,000, was stolen from the 300 block of Washington Street between 3:55 and 4 p.m.


DUI


Daniel E. Zak, 29, of the 2200 block of Barrington Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at Blanchard Street and Briarcliffe Boulevard on a charge of DUI. He posted bond and was released.
